I am just an ordinary bubbly and cheerful girl who is pursing the heart of God. I'm single and waiting for the Lord to bring that one man who will give me a glimpse of how Christ loves His bride here on earth. I love hanging out with my friends and going to the movies. I love the house of God and consider it a great joy to serve in it too. Im growing with my walk with the Lord daily. Its challenging and exciting spending time with Him.

How do you get over a guy when he is just not interested?

Added a post Nov 6 2008

Dear ladies, You know ladies, many women have travelled down this path but unfortunatly there is no formula or prescription that can take away the pain of unrequited love. I know this because time and time again i keep falling into the same trap. And my advice to you is pray for healing in this area of your life. Do not carry this bagage around. Trust in the Lord and meditate on His word. Each time you find yourself thinking of this guy say the name of Jesus or a bible verse( i use 1 Thessolonians 4: 2-5 or Romans 12:2). We shall overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit living in us. Let us draw nearer to God and He will draw nearer to you. He is sovereign and Jesus is enough! God has a plan lets stick to that plan. Ps, avoid all communication with him (if possible) because it just only just serves to brings back so much pain and memories! I hope this helps you, In Christs love, Cherish Reply »

He rejoices over me & quiets me with a song of love

What great joy I feel knowing that God holds my world in His hands. He dances and sings over me, Zephaniah 3:17. I feel an overwhelming sense of peace and gladness that whatever happens in this waiting season God loves me with an unfailing love that endures forever. I just have this romantic image of myself dancing under the stars and my Lord just watching me and singing to me.

Oops, I meant, Hi Cherish! :)! (I sounded like a coach, calling you by your surname and not your first name, lol) :D Sorry about that! :)

Hi Mutambara :)

I thought that was beautiful, what you wrote in the "How Do You Dream of Blessing Your Husband Someday?" post--especially the part that you wrote about seeing your future husband's eyes light up when you tell him for the first time that you're going to be having a baby--awww!!!! :)!

I'm curious...in your books list, you mention a book titled, "Wait For Me"--what is the book about and who is the author? It sounds interesting to me! :) It reminds me of Rebecca St. Jame's song called, "Wait For Me." The music video with that song is so sweet. :) Have you seen it?

Well, have a blessed night! :)
