In my experience, sometimes when he doesn't call it means hes busy. Please don't over think the situation. If he doesn't call at all, why not call him? If there was an explict understanding at the conclusion of the date that he would like to see you again, I don't see why you couldn't give him a simple call saying that you enjoyed your first meeting and that you are looking forward to your next one. Above all, trust God in everything. Its easy to say, but certainly a must! Reply »

Hi Janie, I will be praying that you will find a group of friends! Have you thought about calling around to some different churches to see if they have young adult groups or sunday school classes? Tyrone & Praying Boldly

I am not sure if any of you have heard of Tyron Wells, but I would encourage you to find out about him! He's a very talented musician who is a Christian. While he is a Believer, his music is not overtly Christian. But it's still amazingly good. Anyways, he recently came to the university I attend for a concert. I told him afterwards that I would really like him to sing at my wedding even though I have no prospects at this time. I did say that I am "Praying Boldly" for my future husband and he thought that was really cool and gave me a big ol' High Five! Anyways, just wanted to share that little tid bit of fun with you!

my heart for missions: please pray

I have a huge heart for doing missions work in the state of Utah! Yes, you heard correctly--I wanna be a missionary right here in the USA!! During undergrad I went to Utah several times to have interfaith conversations with the LDS church members. I also encouraged local evangelical churches & their ministries. I now have the opportunity to go back for a few weeks this summer and help out with a church plant. Would you please join me in praying about this opportunity?
